Get free vintage synth presets
This month’s drop includes two presets for Star Coda, a synth created in collaboration with composer Jetdark. Together, we captured a selection of analog synths, and then pushed them into new sonic territory with glitchy, stuttered processing and layered effects chains.
The result is a collection of eerie, unstable tones built for, but absolutely not limited to, modern video game scoring. Every sound is sculpted to feel slightly off-centre, slightly broken, and full of atmosphere.
Star Teardrops
Star Teardrops is a playful, 8-bit style square synth with a glitch-processed twist. It’s ideal for bright EDM hooks or retro game scoring, walking the line between nostalgic and futuristic.
Star Crossed
Star Crossed is a soft vintage synth layered with unpredictable digital artifacts that come alive on the modwheel. It’s perfect for evolving textures, game soundscapes, or any track that needs an edge of instability.
How to access Free Drops
All you need to do to claim your Star Coda presets is download INSTRUMENT, register for free, and then look for the ‘Drop’ icon in the top-right corner of the plugin. You’ll find the synth presets in the dropdown alongside some other Free Drops we think you’ll love—all free to download this month.
