Splice and John Legend are celebrating 20 years of his debut album Get Lifted with the launch of his signature INSTRUMENT pack.
On the heels of the release, we’re excited to give fans a one-of-a-kind chance to meet John Legend in person on his Get Lifted anniversary tour—read on for details.
This contest is only open to those who are 18+ and live in the U.S.
The contest
Record a musical tribute to John Legend to celebrate 20 years of Get Lifted. You can either use our pre-recorded stems from John Legend’s Splice INSTRUMENT pack (which you can download here), or share a completely original track.
Once you have something you’re proud of, upload your video on Instagram Reels or TikTok with the hashtag #SpliceXJohnLegend, and tag @splice (@splicemusic on TikTok) and @johnlegend in your caption.
Lastly, submit your contact information and preferred tour dates to us via Typeform here.
All forms of musical talent are welcome—whether you’re a singer, a pianist, a saxophone player, or something else, we welcome you to share your talents with us.
Submissions will be open from October 17th, 2025 until 11:59 p.m. ET on October 27th, 2025.
Winner selections
After submissions have closed, our internal team will review submissions and select the winners by October 29th. We’ll contact winners via emails submitted through Typeform.
Prizing
Three winners will be chosen, and each will receive two VIP tickets plus meet & greet packages for an upcoming eligible tour date of their choosing.
